Community Support

Handicapped Accessible Park

 

The Foundation donated  $43,000 to the City of Puerto Peñasco for construction of this park for all members of the community.  It has been outfitted with specially designed equipment for children with special needs.

The Foundation was honored to have Sonora’s Governor, Edward Bours, his wife and the Mayor, Ramon Martinez attend and assist in the official opening of the park.

La Montana School for the Handicapped

Extensive renovations were completed in the summer of 2005 including plumbing, wheelchair accessible bathrooms, electrical re-wiring and additional service, replaced playground equipment, improved landscaping, upgraded basketball court and refurbished the Ramada. Funding for this project was raised at the Cinco de Mayo Fiesta.

The horse corral also was added at the time of the renovations providing additional therapy for the children

 

 

 

 

 

The Foundation provided hamburgers, sandwiches, drinks and cake for the dedication event.

Sports Equipment
 

 


The Foundation distributed to Little League Teams donated and purchased sporting equipment. Thereby, providing a positive outlet for their energies.
