The Foundation donated $43,000 to the City of Puerto
Peñasco for construction of this park for all members of the
community. It has been outfitted with specially
designed equipment for children with special needs.

The Foundation was honored to have Sonora’s Governor, Edward
Bours, his wife and the Mayor, Ramon Martinez attend and
assist in the official opening of the park.

School for the Handicapped |
Extensive renovations were completed
in the summer of 2005 including plumbing, wheelchair accessible
bathrooms, electrical re-wiring and additional service, replaced
playground equipment, improved landscaping, upgraded basketball court and refurbished the Ramada. Funding for
this project was raised at the Cinco de Mayo Fiesta. |
