For the past four years the Foundation’s major fundraiser has been its Cinco de Mayo Fiesta and Silent Auction at the Las Gaviotas Condominiums.  The 2006 event resulted in over $70,000 raised to support the various community support projects performed by the Foundation during the year.

The “So Others May Eat (SOME)” program is a Puerto Penasco food distribution effort to provide the most basic nutritional requirements to those in our community most in need.  To fund this program, the Larry D. Large Foundation is presenting a 2K Fun Walk and 5K Walk/Run.

The 1^st Annual Super Bowl Party was held at Villa del Ensueño in Las Conchas and was a resounding success netting approximately $11,000 to benefit the “So Others May Eat” (SOME) program.
